“Visit yourself regularly!” advises the poet Rumi. This weekend, we want to dedicate ourselves to mindfulness with and within the body. Exercises from Hatha Yoga are combined with a somatic approach into a sequence of flowing movements – more dynamic in the morning and calmer in the afternoon, leading into the stillness of meditation. This weekend is about embodiment: what happens when the body becomes aware of itself? Feels itself, breathes, and lets the inner guidance of the body determine the orientation for movement? Through movement and moments of sensing, a deeper connection with one’s own vitality can be experienced. The body and nervous system relax and regenerate. New inner spaces and a finer perception in daily life can develop. This is a wonderful gift to our vitality.
