Highlights include a jeep tour of Mount Etna, a wine tasting with winery tour, an experience dinner in a vineyard or gourmet restaurant, a private city tour of Palermo, and reserved admission to the UNESCO-protected Valley of the Temples. You will stay at the elegant Villa Neri Resort & Spa on Mount Etna, the traditional Grand Hotel Wagner in Palermo, and charming boutique hotels in Marsala and Agrigento, among others. Day 1 – Arrival at the foot of Mount Etna


Arrival at Catania airport.

After a 50-minute drive along the east coast, you will reach Linguaglossa on the northern slope of Mount Etna.
Your home for the next three nights: the elegant Hotel Villa Neri Resort & Spa – nestled among vineyards with views of Europe's highest active volcano.

In the afternoon, we recommend a stroll through the charming town of Linguaglossa with its hidden murals and small cafés.

In the evening: relax with a glass of Etna wine.

Day 2 – Mount Etna & Taormina


Included: Half-day jeep tour to Mount Etna (organized by the hotel).
Lava fields, lunar landscapes, and spectacular views.

In the afternoon, drive to Taormina – arguably Sicily's most elegant city.
Visit the ancient Greek-Roman theater with views of the sea and Mount Etna. Stroll through Corso Umberto, enjoy granita or espresso with a view.

Also included: wine cellar visit with tasting.

Day 3 – Natural wonders or baroque gems


Three wonderful options are available to you:

Alcantara Gorges
Impressive lava formations up to 25 m deep with ice-cold river water.

Syracuse
Baroque elegance on the island of Ortigia, cathedral square, small courtyards, and Mediterranean lifestyle.

Aeolian Islands
Boat trip from Milazzo to Lipari, Vulcano, or Stromboli.

A special highlight awaits you in the evening:
weather permitting, dinner in the vineyard of Villa Neri, or alternatively a gourmet menu at the Michelin-starred restaurant “Dodici Fontane.”

Day 4 – The north coast to Palermo


Drive along the stunning north coast to Palermo (approx. 3–3.5 hours driving time).

Recommended stops:

  • Tindari with its sanctuary of the Black Madonna
  • Cefalù with its cathedral right by the sea
  • Castelbuono in the Madonie Nature Park

Two nights at the traditional Grand Hotel Wagner in the heart of Palermo.

Day 5 – Historic Palermo


Includes: 2-hour private city tour.

You will discover:

  • Cathedral (including roof terrace)
  • Palazzo dei Normanni & Cappella Palatina

In the late afternoon: view from Monte Pellegrino or sunset on Mondello beach.

Day 6 – Temples & Salt Gardens


From Palermo heading west (approx. 2 hours 45 minutes driving time).

Highlights:

  • The majestic temple of Segesta
  • Medieval Erice high above Trapani
  • Trapani salt pans at sunset

Overnight stay in a central boutique hotel in Marsala.

      Day 7 – Ancient monuments & white rocks


      Drive to Agrigento (approx. 2.5 hours).

      Recommended stops:

      • Selinunte Archaeological Park
      • Scala dei Turchi – spectacular white limestone formations

      In the late afternoon, visit the UNESCO-protected Valley of the Temples – an unforgettable experience in the golden evening light.

      Overnight stay at the charming Hotel Colleverde.

      Day 8 – Farewell to Sicily


      Return trip to Catania (approx. 2 hours).
      Optional stop at Villa Romana del Casale with its world-famous mosaics.
