CANCELLATION - To confirm/guarantee each reservation, a valid credit card is requested. Thanks a lot. If the guest withdraws from the contract, the following cancellation costs are to be paid: Up to 8 days before arrival No cancellation fee 7 - 0 days before arrival, 100% of the package price for a maximum of 3 days Decisive for the calculation is the arrival of the cancellation at the hotel. The above conditions also apply to guests who do not show up (no show) or leave early.

RESTAURANT
Good food has always been a great priority for the Brawand family in the Hotel Kirchbühl! Through the various restaurants as well as the pampering half-board our guests enjoy a wide selection: Gourmet Restaurant La Marmite with French cuisine; Hilty-Stübli and Eiger-Stube with Bernese Oberland dishes; we also offer a selection of Asian cuisine. Friday evening: Kirchbühl buffet.
Member of the Guild of established chefs, Chaine de Rôtisseurs. Recommended in the Guide bleu.

Weekly guest program. (Ski Safari, Curling, Eigerness activities, Fondue evening)
Our new sauna area features a Finnish sauna made of split wood (90°C), a sanarium made of old wood (65°C) as well as a steam bath with 100% humidity at 50°C. Nude area - children under 16 years are not permitted. The stylish relaxation room and a lounge, refreshment fountain with water from the Klecki spring at the foot of the Wetterhorn offer relaxation.
Hotel shuttle bus to the railway station - in winter ski bus to the hotel. Ski-in and ski-out in good conditions.
Seminars up to 25 persons.

Car

By motorway from Basel, Geneva or Zurich via Bern to Interlaken or alternatively via Lucerne by the Brünigpass to Interlaken (exit nr 25) and then on a good main road to Grindelwald.
In Grindelwald: follow the main street to the church (on the right). Take the direction Oberer Gletscher and turn left to the hotel after 400m (signposted).

In wintertime snow tires and chains are required.
The motorways in Switzerland are subjected by a charge (CHF 40.00/year). Vignettes are available at the frontier, at petrol stations or the post office.

Train

International train connections (including ICE) take you to Interlaken, from where the journey to Grindelwald takes about 40 minutes on the rack railway of the Bernese Oberland Railway.

Our hotel shuttle bus will take you directly to Grindelwald railway station in the village centre and back. (Please book in advance)

Airplane

The international airports Zurich-Kloten, Geneva-Cointrin and Basel-Mulhouse have direct rail connections to Interlaken - Grindelwald. Bern-Belp airport is connected to the railway network by airport taxi.
