Restaurant Alexander
The first-class, light cuisine offers a choice of 5-course menus every day: or you can choose seasonal and local specialities from our à la carte menu. Dine al fresco amidst Mediterranean palm trees with a breathtaking view of Lake Lucerne and the mountains of Central Switzerland. In addition, every Sunday we serve a gala dinner by candlelight and piano music.
Bar Alexander
While the view falls on the impressive mountains and Lake Lucerne, you can enjoy fine cocktails, drinks and wines in a relaxed atmosphere at the Bar Alexander. As a prelude to your family celebration, to celebrate your successful seminar day or for a romantic end to the evening - the Bar Alexander offers cosy seating at the bar and spacious seating areas for groups.

Directions

Directions from Zurich / Lucerne

From the A14 or A4, take direction to Küssnacht / Schwyz after Zug and follow the A4 to the Küssnacht exit. Cross the village and follow the signs to Weggis / Vitznau. In Weggis, take the first exit at the roundabout by the Avia petrol station. Follow Luzernerstrasse and turn right at the second street into the steeply sloping Kreuzstrasse. At the end of Kreuzstrasse turn right into Hertensteinstrasse and follow the road for about 500 m until you see the Alexander and Gerbi hotels on your right hand side.


Approach from Brunnen / Schwyz

Take Gersauerstrasse and follow the main road along the shore of Lake Lucerne. Cross Gersau and Vitznau, take the entrance to the village centre of Weggis and drive through the whole village on the Seestrasse. From the boat station it is 1.5 km to the Alexander and Gerbi hotels.


Parking spaces

Behind the Hotel Alexander there are parking spaces available for free use. The Hotel Gerbi also has a parking garage. Additional parking spaces are available directly on the street for hotel guests free of charge (parking card available at the reception).
