After a restful night and a rich breakfast buffet at Blatter's Hotel Arosa, you set off invigorated on the first stage of your mountain bike tour. From Arosa you first descend to the Isel reservoir and follow the Plessur river to Langwies. Now you can pedal harder, because the ascent to the Durannapass follows. On the way, you can recharge your batteries at the Strassberg mountain inn for the remaining metres in altitude up to the pass summit. Once there, you head straight back downhill on varied single trails that offer a wonderful mix of landscape and culture. At Schifer, keep right in the direction of Klosters. Via Davos Wolfagang and Davos Dorf you will finally reach Davos Platz, where you will be welcomed "härzli willkomma" at Grischa - DAS Hotel Davos. 

The next morning, get back on your bike saddle and set off in the direction of Davos Monstein. Due to storm damage, the Zügenschlucht gorge between Davos Monstein and Davos Wiesen is closed until at least the beginning of summer 2024. We therefore recommend that you travel this section by Rhaetian Railway. Please do not forget to buy a valid ticket for yourself and a ½ ticket for your bike and to press the "Stop on demand" button. From Davos Wiesen you then whiz down the Landwasser valley to Filisur. Admire the impressive Landwasser Viaduct of the Rhaetian Railway on the way. In Filisur you tackle the Albula Pass. On the way, a short stop at the Lai da Palpuogna with its crystal-clear water and larch forest is worthwhile. Once you have reached the Albula Pass, you deserve a snack of Graubünden barley soup or Albula macaroni at the Albula Hospiz mountain inn. Here you can also recharge your e-bikes. Strengthened, you follow the Albula Trail (difficulty S1) down to La Punt in the Upper Engadine. From there it is only a stone's throw to your next Private Selection Hotel Castell in Zuoz. 

For very experienced mountain bikers, it is recommended to ride over the Scalettapass to Zuoz. The alpine route leads from Davos Platz first along the former mule track along the Dischmabach to Dürrboden. From there you tackle the Scalettapass. At the top of the pass at 2,606 metres above sea level, you enjoy your lunch with a breathtaking view of the Val Susauna. The descent on the single trail to Alp Funtauna demands your full concentration (difficulty S4) and is worthwhile once again. Afterwards, the route is more leisurely again and leads you through the Val Susauna to S-Chanf and Zuoz.
