Cancellations or negative changes to the reservation are possible free of charge up to 48 hours (2 days) prior to arrival. Cancellations arriving later or late arrival or early departure will be charged 100% of the confirmed price.

In our restaurant ACHT we will spoil you with culinary delights and a breathtaking view of Lake Constance. Our dishes are inspired by the rolling hills, the Alpine stone, the clear Lake Constance and the diverse flora and fauna. Mindfulness is our creed, so we place great value on cooking with fresh, local ingredients and being honest, warm hosts.
Be it a cosy dinner with family and friends, a spontaneous lunch in Appenzellerland or a business lunch with partners and acquaintances. No matter what time of day you honour us: you are welcome.
ACHT bar
A good drink is part of a good conversation. Whether it's an aperitif, a glass in between or a nightcap – no matter what time of day, the Acht Bar is always a good choice. Our drinks are mixed with the best regional ingredients and with an extra dose of passion. We say "Cheers" and see you soon.

Our therapies enable you to regenerate quickly by combining exercise and relaxation. The range is based on conventional medical findings and can be supplemented in-house with various alternative healing procedures if required. And although this is not our intention as hosts, we and the surrounding area – from the Alpstein to Lake Constance – help you leave us as early as possible.

Arrival by public transport

From Zurich; Take the train to St. Gallen HB. From there, take the Postbus towards Heiden and take it via Eggersriet and Grub to Heiden. Get off at the "Post" stop. From there, it is about 170 metres to the Hotel Heiden.  Alternatively, you can take the train to Rorschach and take the Rorschach-Heiden-Bergbahn. From Heiden station it is about 350 metres to the Hotel Heiden.

From Chur; take the train to Heerbrugg. There, take the Postbus towards Heiden and take it via Berneck and Oberegg to Heiden. Get off at the "Post" stop. From there, walk about 170 metres along Seeallee in the direction from which you came by Postbus. The Hotel Heiden is then on the right side of the street. 

Arrival by car

From Zurich; Take the A1 towards St. Gallen to the exit "St. Gallen Neudorf". Follow the signs for "Heiden" via Eggersriet and Grub. Pass the entrance to Heiden and follow the road for about 800 metres. At the entrance to the village, turn left towards the centre, after about 150 metres the Hotel Heiden is on the left side of the road. 

From Chur; take the A13 in the direction of St. Margrethen, as far as the exit "St. Margrethen". Drive via Rheineck, Lutzenberg and Wolfhalden. Pass the entrance to Heiden and follow the road to the railway station. Turn left towards the centre – pay attention to the signs "Hotel Heiden". Follow Seeallee for about 100 metres, the building is on the right side of the street.
